The William Hixson mentioned in this information is an ancestor of Daniel Hixson, Timothy Hixson, Sarah Hixson Hester, and other Hixsons of early nineteenth century Ross County, Ohio. Both my mother's family and my father's family are descended from William Hixson's Ross County, Ohio descendants, making me my own distant cousin.
