GRAY, 40, STRICKEN AT CLYDE Lloyd C. Gray died in his home at 248 Ott Street, Clyde, on Sunday after an extended illness. Before ill health forced him into retirement a year ago, he was a maintenance clerk at Whirlpool-Seeger Corporation. He had been employed by the plant for twenty years. Friends may call at the family residence on Monday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran church and interment will be in McPherson cemetery. The deceased was born in Vickery, April 5, 1916, the son of Howard and Bertha Beebe Gray. In 1934 he graduated from Clyde high school and on April 16, 1936 married Marian Leibengood. His father and a brother, Floyd, predeceased him. His mother, his widow and a son John, 14 years, survive him, as well as, brothers Rolland and Ralph, all of Clyde. He was a volunteer fireman in Clyde, a member of Clyde Eagles Lodge, and a member of St. Paul's congregation.
