Jones, at Colby, last week, Wednesday night aged 86 years and 29 days. Deceased had been ill and confined to his bed for the past fifteen years. Four children, W.S. Jones of Colby, A.B. Jones of Beattie, Fulton Co., Mrs. Wm. Wagoner of Gibsonburg and Mrs. Mary E. Jones of Rudolph, survive him. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from York Free Chapel conducted by Chaplain S.B. McConnell of Clyde. Interment in the Free Chapel Cemetery. _______ Bellevue News, 28 Oct. 1898 Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1898, at the home of son, Colby, Ohio, Mr. Daniel Jones, aged 86 years and 29 days. Mr. Jones had been an invalid several years. The funeral was held at York free chapel Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. S. B. McConnell, of Clyde; and interment was made in the. Free chapel cemetery.
