Mrs. Bertha Messenger
NEW LONDON -- Mrs. Bertha Messenger, 82, Clifton Street, died Monday in 
Wellsville, N.Y. at a rest home where she had been a patient since August.

Born in Willard, she had lived most of her life here.  She was a member of the 
First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Morse, in 1932; her second 
husband, and a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Brundage, in 1965.

Survivors include one daughter, Gwynetta Boyce, Wellsville, N.Y., and four 
grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Eastman Funeral Home, where 
services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Kenneth Houser, 
officiating.

Burial will be in the Grove Street Cemetery.
