Henry Mook was born in Union County, Pennsylvania, Jan. 10th, 1814. When but 9 months old his mother died, at which time he removed with his father to Allegheny county, New York. About 1840 he removed to Sandusky county, Ohio, and three years later he purchased the farmon which he resided at the time of his death. He became a Christian when but a young man an ever afterward lived an earnest faithful Christian life. He united with the Evangelical Association in his early life and remained a faithful and honored member till death came. His wife and one daughter preceded him to the spirit world. Three children remain to mourn their, Jas. Mook, Mrs. Filsinger and Mrs. Richards. Mr. Mook was a good man and an affectionate indulgent father, and it can be truly said the world was made better by his having lived in it. The funeral services were held from the Emanuel Evangelical church, Tuesday afternoon and were largely attended. Rev. W.H.
