Clyde Enterprise 7/7/1887

Mrs. Eliza Reed Frees was born in Union Co., Pa., June 11, 1820, and moved 
with her parents to Scott township, Sandusky Co., Ohio in 1829, afterwards 
moving to Madison township, where she resided until 1836, when she was married 
to Silas Frees. She then took up her residence in Townsend township, where she 
raised a family of eleven children, eight of whom are still living, and where 
she resided until 1879, when she moved to Clyde, living here until the time of 
her death, July 3, 1887. Deceased was a faithful member of the U. B.[United 
Brethren] Church. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. E. Hill at North 
Ridge M. E. Church; interment in Tew's Cemetery.
