Fremont Daily News 20 March 1915
Mrs. John Schmaltz, aged 80 years, died at her home near Gibsonburg.  She had 
been ill for some years.  Funeral services were held at the Hessville church.  
Interment was at the Gibsonburg cemetery.

Surviving her are 6 children; two of them are from near Fremont, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Beckman & Mrs. Emma Brubaker.
