Sally Ann Goodrich was born near Auburn, N.Y., May 4, 1819.  When about 9 years old
her parents moved 
to York, Sandusky County, Ohio.  She was married to Isaac Scott, July 22, 1835, and
was left a widow April 
24, 1900.  To this union was born 14 children, 8 of who survive, 6 sons and 2
daughters.  She passed 
peacefully away Sept 11, 1901.  She had been a great sufferer for some time but bore
it patiently.  At the 
age of 16 years she became converted and united with the Methodist Church of which
she was ever a 
faithful member.

The funeral services were held at the Wales Corners Chapel, Friday at 2 p.m.,
conducted by Rev. D.I.Conkle.  
Interment in the cemetery adjoining the Chapel.
