RETIRED LIVESTOCK DEALER DEAD

Otto Smith aged 76 years was found dead at his home on Route 1, Fremont.  He 
was a life-long resident of the area.  The county coronor ruled the death was 
a result of natural causes.

The deceased parents were William and Elizabeth Minich Smith.  His stepfather 
was Jacob Gassman.  Otto was born 18 July 1879.

Services will be held at the Weller-Wonderly mortuary on Tuesday.  Burial to 
be in the Oakwood cemetery.

He was married 2 July 1903 to Emma Billow who predeceased him.  The following 
children survive: Alvin L., Ralph, Owen and Ross, of Fremont, and Vorys of 
Toledo; daughter Mrs. Elmer Miarer of Fremont and Mrs. Paul Weimerskirch, 
Tiffin.  A sister Mrs. Chris Schutt, Fremont, is also left to mourn.
