Have been looking for a Henry HETTINGER who moved his family to the area between 1836 and 1840. Died about this time. The name Henry came from a family history written many years ago by Henry's daughter's family (daughter Sophia Clara m. George JOSEPH in Sandusky county OH, lived Wood county OH). It is not impossible that this is the man I seek and the family history was in error. If anyone knows anything about any of the men who purchased property at this estate sale, I would appreciate hearing from you. Perhaps in tracing these other men I can find a lead to records that would either prove or disprove the above theory. Meanwhile, it might also add something to someone else's research....... Looking for ANY leads, Barbara Hettinger Hodges whodges@aiinc.com Sale of Andrew Hettinger Estate 4 May 1841 List of Buyers Christian Hettinger David Beery Widow Leonhart Hess?
