Portsmouth Daily Times
Edward Royal, 69 of Letitia, Ky., died at 8 a.m. today in Adams County 
Hospital.  He had been a patient two days.  Born Feb. 1, 1891, at York Ky., he 
was a son of William and Lizzie Hagerman Royal.  He was preceded in death by 
his parents, and his wife, Mrs. Minnie Royal.  Mr. Royal was a member of 
Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Harbison-
Walker Refractories Co.  Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eva Thompson of 
Fullerton, Mrs. Alma Holbrook of Letitia, Mrs. Pauline Wolfenbarger of Dry Run, 
and Mrs. Helen Perdue of Westminister, Calif.; a son, Robert of Indiana, four 
brothers, William and John, both of Portsmouth Rt. 1, Ben of Portsmouth, and 
Everett of Chillicothe, 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Funeral 
arrangements are under direction of Morton Funeral Home of Fullerton.
