SAMPSON ( Simon Edward ) S.E. Sampson, formerly of Minford, died at 1 a.m. today at his home in Westerville after a year's illness. He is survived by his wife, Caddie V. Sampson; a daughter Nola V.; a son Ralph W.; two sisters, Mrs Anna Bennett of Minford and Elida Sampson of Westerville, and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westerville Methodist Church, but the body is to be brought to Bennett Cemetery, Minford, for burial at 4 p.m. Thursday. K.R. Fichner, Westerville funeral director, will be in charge of interment. The Portsmouth Times Wednesday, May 7, 1953 MRS CAROLINE V. SAMSON Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Bennett Cemetery, Minford, for Mrs. Caroline Violet Samson, 86 of Westerville. She was the widow of S. Edward Samson and is survived by a daughter, Mrs Nola KIng and a son, Ralph Samson of Westerville and a brother, John S. Violet, widely known Lucasville farmer. She died Monday. Services at Westerville will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Westerville Methodist Church.
