Friends and business associates of Antone Schirle ere greatly shocked yesterday to learn of his sudden death at 1 o'clock from an attack of heart trouble, Mr. Schirle had been in his usual health as far as anyone knew and had enjoyed an auto trip to Fresno on Sunday. He was 41 years of age and was the founder of the Fourth Street Planing (_?_) and at the time of his death together with his sons was conducting this business. He was a native of Germany but had been a resident of this state for the past 41 years and of San Jose for 23 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his widow, Emelia Schirle, and ten children, Celia, Amelia, Alphonso, Julius, Louis, Joseph, Antone Jr., Teresa, Eugene and Catherine Schirle. Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's church at 9:00 Wednesday morningand interment will be at the Santa Clara Catholic cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be directed by McNally & Higgins.
