Loose page003 Visitors Drop In--Fortunately No One Home This is what happened when an aviator and his passenger dropped in unexpectedly at the home of O. N. Hirsch on the Oakland highway at Warm Springs, 12 miles north of here, Sunday afternoon. Fortunately no one was in the house at the time. The pilot, W. A. Geary, and his passenger, Benjamin Torrey, both of Richmond, clambored from the wreckage, virtually uninjured. Geary explained that his controls jammed when he endeavored to come out of a nose dive, and that he was powerless to stop the ship's downward plunge. Torrey explained that he was mighty glad to have the ground under his feet instead of over them, and no, thank you, doesn't care for another air flight soon. --Photo by Staff Photographer.
