Mrs. Stump had improved and seemed on the way to perfect restoration to health. Her husband had returned to his farm home and duties, believing the danger was past. Mrs. Stump died suddenly. She was widely known in western Putnam Co., where she had resided practically her entire life. Mrs. Stump was a leading worker in the Christian church, Columbus Grove. The husband and two daughters survive. The body was removed Saturday night to her home near Columbus Grove. Mrs. Stump died of heart trouble brought on by gall stones. Funeral services were largely attended last Monday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Garner of West Cairo officiating.
