SHERLOW FUNERAL TO BE ON SUNDAY Otto Sherlow, 44, a well known resident of this community, passed away at his residence on the State road Wednesday night. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from Grace Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. W. E. Tressel. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery. The departed was born in Townsend township, this county, Sept. 20, 1873. He was baptized and later confirmed in the Lutheran church, becoming a member of the Grace congregation on moving into this neighborhood. His schooling he received in the country schools of the place of his birth. He was united in marriage to Miss Hulda Gilbert in Fremont, July 2, 1892. To this union wo sons were born. Mr. Sherlow was well known to many Fremonters, conducting for years an establishment for the purchase and sale of junk and scrap iron. He is survived by the widow and two sons, Carl and Leo, of Fremont and one granddaughter. There are also three sisters. Mesdames Adam Michelson, of Paulding, Lizzie Sunday, of Antwerp, and Mollie Park, of Lansing, Mich. Two half-brothers, Wm. Nusley and Henry Wahl, also survive. ------ Transcribed by Antje Darling
