  GENOA COUPLE WED
Special to the Messenger,
   Genoa, Jan. 1,--The marriage of Miss Helen Powers,
   daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Powers of this place
   to Dr. Gallen Bowman of Toledo, will take place at
   the home of the bride's parents at 2:30 this
   afternoon. The bride is popular in society here and
   the groom is a graduate of Chicago University. Mr.
   and Mrs. Bowman will make their future home in
   Springfield, Ill. where the groom has accepted a
   position in the city hospital.
