OBITUARY Elizabeth Ann (Reynolds) Guffey, daughter of Roger and Elizabeth (Bowen) Reynolds, was born in Norwich township, Franklin county, Ohio, July 14th, 1843 and died April 2nd 1922 near Goshen, Indiana. Aged 68 years, 8 months and 18 days. Her father was from North Wales and her mother from Manchester, England. Mrs. Guffey being on of thirteen children. She came to Putnam county, O., with her parents April 10th, 1867, when she was 13 years old. She united with the Ottawa River Christian church about 49 years ago. She was united in marriage to J. N. Guffey, February 22, 1872, and to this union were born five children, William A. Guffey of Goshen, Ind., John Delbert Guffey, of Shawnee, Okla; Mrs. Saloma Brown of Goshen, Ind., Bessied Almira, deceased; and Mary Adriaenssens of McAlster, Okla. She leaves to mourn a loving husband, two sons, two daughter, 17 grandchildren, three sisters, six brothers and a host of friends and relatives. The funeral was conducted at the Ottawa River church, April 5th, by Dr. G. B. Garner, of West Cairo, in the presence of a large sympathetic congregation.
