Pneumonia Causes Death of Two Children ________ Lorren and Margurite Ethelyn Jones Die Within a Day Apart. ________ On September 4th, 1912 the home of Mr. and Mrs. Zay Jones was gladened by the birth of a beautiful baby boy which they named Lorren, who from the first showed signs of a remarkable child, possessing a spirit of kindness seldom seen in one so you. March 21st at 6:00 P. M. that enemy of human life had his cold hand on him and his spirti took its flight to its eternal home at the age of 9 years, 6 months and 28 days. While Mr. and Mrs. Jones were in this great grief and arrangements were being made for the funeral of their son, the same enemy knocked at the door and called their daughter, Margurite Ethelyn, who came into their home October 25th, 1910, and brought joy on her arrival and always was the means of causing joy to the parents hearts. Her child spirit took its flight to the blessed home on March 23rd, 1922 at 7:00 A.M. to join her brother who had proceeded her about 37 hours. She was 11 years, 4 months aned f or their musical talents. They leave to mourn their departure a father, mother, three brothers, two sisters, Mr. and Mr.s James Palmer, and Mrs. Sarah M. Jones. (The last three were grand parents living.) The birth place of this little boy and girl was Columbus Grove, Ohio. The furnal was held at the Christian Church at West Cairo, conducted by Rev. J. L. Wright, of West Cairo, and Rev. Garret, pastor of Christian Church of Columbus Grove. It is said that it was the largest attended funeral that was ever held in the place, and everyone was in deep sympathy for the bereaved family. It may be said that every one of the neighborhood is anxious to show their real sympathy by seeking some opportunity to do some act of kindness. The family desires to express their appreciation for every act of kindness that was shown them, and asks that this be a part of this notice. ----
