Mrs. Harriet Carpenter announces the marriage of her
   daughter, Carol Elizabeth Carpenter, to Benjamin H.
   Painter, in St. Paul's Episcopal church in Oakland on
   May 28.  Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Painter
   joined members of Islam Temple, San Francisco
   Shriners, on their special train to Kansas City,
   where the annual Imperial Council session will be
   held and where their honeymoon will be spent.  Upon
   their return they will be at home at 343 North
   Fourteenth street until their home in East San Jose
