 Mrs. Minnie Mears' property on Nelson street has been
   sold to Mrs. Avery Lewis for $2500.  Mr. and Mrs.
   Lewis will move there the last of the month.  The
   deal was made by Ralph Hilbish.

  On Thursday evening, February 10,
the Misses Ella and Eva Hornberger
gave a surprise shower for Miss Ola
Hemenway whose engagement to J.
Roger McChesney was recently an-
nounced.  Many beautiful gifts were
received.  Those who could not be
present sent their gifts, or note of
love.  Miss Hemenway is an Ohio girl, 
a graduate nurse and has a legion
of friends who wish her a long
and happy life.  Music and games
were the evening's diversion.  At a
late hour a delicious luncheon was
served.  Those who enjoyed the even-
ing were Misses Florence Rich-
mond, Gertrude Fife, Esther Fager-
strom, Minnine Tacker, Kathyrn Con-
ners, Margaret Davenport, Ola He-
menway, Miss Melchert, Mrs. Cath-
erine Carroll, Mrs. Brady, Mrs. Ful-
ler, Misses Ella and Eva Hornberger.
