  Former State Senator Passes Away.
   ______

   Godfrey Jaeger, former state senator from the
   Thirteenth district, and tax auditor of the Lake
   Shore railroad for 20 years. died yesterday at his
   home in Cleveland aged (??).  He was the father of
   Fred Jaeger, of the J. F. Zahm Grain company, and
   four other surviving sons. The family formerly
   resided in Elmore, and it was during his residence
   there that Mr. Jaeger represented his district in the
   legislature.  He was a man of remarkable ability and
   retained his health to an unusual degree until five
   weeks ago, when he was taken ill.  His wife died
   three years ago and, beside Fred Jaeger, of Toledo,
   the sons who survive him are Samual, David, Charles
   and Godfrey, Jr., all of Cleveland.  Fred Jaeger went
   to Cleveland the early part of the week and will
   remain until after the
