      The funeral services for _______
Garner were held Wednesday after-
noon at the Christian Church, the Rev.
G. B. Garner, of Cairo, brother-in-law
of the deceased officiating.  Interment
in the Vaughnsville cemetery.

   The Social Circle will be held at
Richard Foulkes, Friday evening. 
Hostesses, Mable, Esther, Editto Ed-
ward, Mrs. Rhodes and Mamie Wil-
liams.

   Gomer H. S. basketball team will
play Vaughnsville at the gym Friday
evening March 3.  They have each
won a game so this will decide which
team is the champion player.

   Raymond Schneider of Ernest Mc-
Elwain made a business trip to Spen-
cerville Tuesday.

   Llyod Daken and family of Lima,
are guests of his siter Anna M.
Gander Sunday.

   The funeral services for Absolem
Good were held at the Ottawa River
Christian church Thursday afternoon.
The Rev. Page, the pastor, officiat-
ing.  Interment in the cemetery.
