   OBITUARY OF MINERVA ROBERTS

   Julia Minerva Rice was born
January 22nd, 1844 in Putnam
County.  She was married to
benjamin F. Roberts, October
12, 18**.  All of her life was
spent in this vicinity excepting 
two years of her married life in
Paulding County.
   Born to this union were four
children, Martha E., Cilicia C.,
Edward and Esli.  Only one of 
these remained to care for the
mother during the last lingering
illness.  There were six grand-
children and three great grand-
children.
   Her husband preceded her in
death twenty-two years ago leaving
her a long, lonesome life but,
every one who knew her in all 
theses years, knew of her as 
patient and faithful.  For many
years she was a christian, having
united, early in life, with the
Methodist Church.
   She was called from labor or
reward at 4 p.m. the 5th day of
August, 1922, at the age of 78
years, 8 months and 18 days,---
the last of a family of four,--two
brothers and a sister.
