EDUCATION WEEK

   The governor of Ohio has set
aside an education week.  The
days are from December 3 to 9.
During this week every school
house in our state is to be visited
by parents and friends of the
schools and special emphasis is
to be placed on the importance of
better education and better un-
derstanding of parents and 
teachers.  It is a good thing.  We
must understand our schools and 
our teachers better.  It will be
of infinite help to our youngsters
and a great encouragement to
our teachers.  We often, too
often find fault, because we do
not understand.  Then why not
make it a great get together week
and show our teachers how in-
terested we are in our schools.
On Friday of this education 
week there is be a sing in
every school house.  Old and 
young are to meet and sing to-
gether the old hymns and tunes
everybody loves.  Why not make
the entire community ring with
song on that day!
