Reynolds Green Spring people and many in Clyde and vicinity are mourning the death of Dr. R. D. Reynolds, popular physician, which occurred at his home there Tuesday. He was 55 years of age and had been a resident there for many years. He is survived by his widow and a step-daughter. Exposure in attending to his professional work is said to have brought on the illness which resulted in his death. Funeral services will be held at the M. E. Church Friday morning at 10 o'clock under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity, and conducted by Rev. Thompson. Interment will be made in Green Spring cemetery. ------------------ Double Funeral at Green Springs. Mrs. Elva E. Reynolds, wife of Dr. R. D. Reynolds of Green Springs, died last Thursday, two days after the death of her husband. The funeral of Dr. Reynolds, scheduled to be held Friday, was postponed unitl Saturday morning when a double funeral was held, the service being the largest ever held at that place. Dr. and Mrs. Reynolds were married last July. She was a Southern lady, and they first met when Dr. Reynolds was sojourning in Florida. A twelve-year-old daughter of Mr. Reynolds survives.
