Many Clyde people were saddened this week to learn of the death of Mrs. Dora Hubbard Marshall, wife of D. C. Marshall, who passed away at her home in Cleveland Saturday afternoon. The funeral was held in Cleveland Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in that city. Dora Hubbard was the daughter of Charles and Lydia Hubbard and was born in Clyde Nov. 7, 1873. She was the eldest of three children, and spent her girlhood days in Clyde, moving to Cleveland with her parents in 1887. She has made Cleveland her home since that time, although she frequently visited relatives and friends in Clyde. She was married to D. C. Marshall, now an employee of the Federal Reserve Bank in Cleveland, and to them were born one daughter, now Mrs. Iva Bolton of Cleveland, who, with her little son and her father, survive. Among those who attended the funeral were Mrs. Anna Covill, Geroge Welliver, Miss Minnie Hess, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hess and Fred Hess. ------------------- Card of Thanks We wish in this manner to thank all those who so kindly assisted us at the time of our bereavement in the death of our beloved husband and father, Mr. C. M. McCleary. Especially do we wish to thank the Spanish War Veterans, friends, relatives and neighbors for flowers, and those who donated autos. The Family. ------------------- Mrs. E. H. Pease this week received a card from Fort Wayne, Inc., stating that Miss Ola Knachel, who recently made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Pease, was very ill at Irene Bryon hospital in that city. ------------------- There will be an important meeting at ........
