CARBOLIC ACID Ended Life of Clyd Woman Monday Morning Mrs. Nora Orbitts committed suicide Monday morning by taking the contents of a two-ounce bottle of carbolic acid at the home of the mother, Mrs. Rosanna Ellis of Spring street. She arose as usual that morning but told her mother she did not feel well and went back to bed. Shortly afterwards Mrs. Ellis went into the room and found she had taken the poison. She passes away about 10:30 a. m. from its effects. Mrs. Orbitts had been in ill health for some time, and became despondent over her failure to improve. No other reason is known for the rash act, and she left no word regarding her intention to end her life. Besides her mother, deceased is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank De- vanna of Vickery, and seven brothers, of whom five live in Toledo, namely, Ed, Bert, Sherman, Lawrence and John; also Clarence of North Baltimore and Frank of Fremont. A son, Donald Orbitts, has been living in Maine, but was notified at once and is expected here for the funeral. Mrs. Orbitts was a window, her busband having died several years ago. She was aged 36 years, 6 months and 8 days. Services will be held at the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. T. L. McConnell, and interment will be made in the McPherson cemetery. ----
