Pease last Thursday re- ceived a telegram from Long Beach, Cal., bringing the sad news of the death of her niece, Miss Ruth Hayden, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dory Hayden, former Clyde residents. The entire family had been ill, and Miss Ruth had nearly recovered when she was taked ill again and passed away at 2:45 o'clock, at the age of 13 years, 2 months and 8 days. She was born in Monessen, Pa., Dec. 20, 1910, and lived there with her parents until they moved to Cleveland, and in October 1918 the family moved to Long Beach, Cal., where Mr. Hayden is in the invest- ment business. The surviving family are her be- reaved parents, two brothers and a sister, namely, James, Robert and Esther Hayden, besides other rela- tives in Clyde and vicinity. ----
