   Attending Canners' Convention.
   The annual convention of the
National Canners' Association is be-
ing held this week at Atlantic City,
N. J., and a number of Clyde and
vicinity left for that city on Sunday,
including Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wilder,
W. A. Solether, Roy Irons and son
Ross, M. J. Slessman, A. E. Slessman
of Fremont.  Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Babcock of Phelps, N. Y. are also
among those in attendance, the can-
ners coming from all parts of the
United States.
