Kowalk's fine flock of 19 Shropshires last Thursday night, killed two of them outright, injured another so that it died next day, and lacerated several others, some of which are not expected to recover. It was the first time in months that Mr. Kowalk had not locked his sheep up, but coming home late that night he found the barn door closed, and thinking it was fastened he paid no more attention to it. Later the wind blew it open and nine of the flock got into the yard, where the damage was done. One of the sheep killed was valued at $35. Mr. Kowalk says he will give a reward to the per- son kills the animals which at- tached his flock. They are suppose to be the same ones that recently got into the Beier and Knowles flocks. ----
