   Mrs. Chas. E. Lewis.

   Word has been received of the
death of Mrs. Chas E. Lewis at Los
Angeles, Cal., a few days ago, from
the effects of paralysis.  She was
formerly Mrs. L. W. Ward of Fremont,
and after the death of her first
husband was married to Mr. Lewis of
Clyde, and soon afterwards they went
to California.  he maiden name was
Julia Leppelman.  Mr. Lewis will
bring the bosy to Fremont for
burial.
