Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Myers was found dead at the home of her half brother, Will Myers on Birdseye St. this morning about 6 o'clock. She had gotten up about four o'clock and was found sitting up in her chair. Death was due to heart failure. No funeral arrangements have been made. 2nd Article: dated Feb. 22, 1923 Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Miller. The funeral of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Miller, whose sudden death was briefly mentioned last week, was held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of her brother, W. H. Myers on Bird- seye street, where her demise ov- curred. Rev. T. L. McConnell con- ducted the service and the interment took place in McPherson cemetery. Mrs. Miller passed away early Thursday morning while sitting her chair. She had arisen as usual, lighted a coal oil stove in her room, wrapped a blanket about her, then a wrap over her shoulders and in that peaceful attitude passed away, being found soon after by Mr. Myers when he came home from night work. Deceased, whose madien name was Myers, was born Sept. 3, 1848, at Marshallville, Pa., and was married to George Miller, whose death occurred several years ago, in Illi- nois. Thre children were born to them, Charles Miller of Kalamazoo, Mich., Forest Miller of Chicago, and Mrs. A. G. Gillespie of Chicago. There are also the grand children. Mrs. Miller had been a resident of Clyde for about seven years, and had kept house for her brother since the death of his wife two years ago. Attending the funeral from a dis- tance were her sons Charles and For- est, a sister, Miss Annie Myers, and Mrs. Mary McLanigan of Harrisburg, Pa. ----
