    Pastor Tenders Resignation.

   Rev. J. C. B. Stivers, who has been
pastor of the Church of Christ for 
more than a year, has tendered the
congregation his resignation to take
effect as soons as another minister can
be procured.  Rev. Stivers lives in
Cleveland, where his wife is matron
of the Cleveland Christian Orphan-
age, and feels that a resident minister
could give the congregation more


efficient service.  He is a fine scholar
and able minister and Clyde will re-
gret to lose him.  No one has been
secured to fill his place.
