   Mr. and Mrs. John Begg, parents of
Congressman-elect Jim Begg, were
his guests Sunday at his home on
South Columbus ave.  This is the first
time the parents hve had an oppor-
tunity to personally congratulate their
son upon his wonderful race for con-
gress made last Tuesday.
   The father is one of the well known
speakers of the state, having delivered
many addresses at farmers' institutes
in the past.  He had a reputation as
being one of the ablest men following
that line of work.
