AFFLICTED SEEKING HEALING AT REVIVAL Mrs. Ida Tribbett and Band of Workers Conduct Pente- costal Services. A little band of workers meeting every evening at the Bethel Mission, South Thrird street, is attrating more and more attention by its efforts to preach the full gospel and conduct di- vine healing services without much notoriety and advertising. But the work is spreading and as the service clamoring to hear Mrs. Ida Tribbett, eastern evangelist, preaching in be- half of the Mission's doctrine. The church is not as handsome as a cathedral and neiter is the music that of an expensive pipe organ, but to the sick who are in need of prayer and to those who want to hear the gospel, the sermons of Mrs. Tribbett and the responses to her prayers are more than satisfying. A woman well known in this city and for a number of years almost totaly blind was present at the evening service yes- terday to testify that her sight was being restored more each hour and she proved it by reading from a book without the heavy glasses she has worn for years. Another woman who claimed to be deaf named the hymn which was being played and responded to questions asked her. Mrs. Tribbett, wearing a white uni- form, extends the invitation to ass re- ligions, all classes and all sickeness to come to the alter and be prayed for. There are wheel chairs and crutches in evidence at each meeting. For hours and hours the little throngs kneel at the altar and plead for di- vine mercy. If prayers and faith can be of any avail in healing the sick, it is apparent that some demonstra- tion will be made to this band of workers. Special Thanksgiving service will be held this afternoon at 2:20 o'clock. This evening at 5:30 p.m. Mrs Tribbett will conduct a healing service. Everyone is welcomed within the Mission. Among out-of-town pastors and missionary workers who are assisting with the revival are: Rev. George Thomas, missionary from Mexico; Rev. J. Brimsom, missionary from India and Africa; Joseph Golden of San Francisco; C. B. Cannon, song leader from San Francisco, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lyon, missionaries leaving for Mexico. ----
