I know not whats awaiting me,
  In the sweet by and by, 
Or what my chances there will be
  For mansions in the sky;
But this I know, my bungalow
  In sunny San Hozay 
Will answer me just to a T
  Where I'd like to live for aye.

Refrain:
I would like to live for aye
  In sunny San Hozay,
Here in my cozy bungalow, 
  I'd like to live, come weal come
    woe,
Forever and a day.

I'd like to live forever here, 
  In this delightful clime, 
But death I know will interfere
  And get my goat sometime
Worms of the dust, all mortals must
  Return again to clay,
But all earth men may rise again
  Where they'd like to live for aye.

  In sunny San Hozay, 
Among the present race of men,
  And do my very best for them,
Forever and a day.

I have some fond illusions
  Of a better world elsewhere,
Which the All Father rules with
