This is the certify that Lena Phearr, daughter of Jacob Phearr after a regular 
course of instruction in accordance with the teachings of the German 
Evangelical United Church was CONFIRMED at Seneca Church on the twenty fifth 
day of the month of December in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and 
sixty nine.  John G. Newshmidt, pastor of said evengelical united Church of 
Seneca Township, Seneca Co., Ohio.

Additional Comments:
I have been searching for a descendant of this family and will be most happy to 
return the document to a family member- NO COST-.  It is in fairly good 
condition considering the age, but I have not been able to locate this family 
name anywhere.  I am certain of the spelling as the penmanship is excellent.  
It is definitely "hearr" (accent on the "a") and appears to be a "P" as the 
first letter of the name.  just contact me and I will mail the document to you.
