Edward Franklin had an obituary 17 Jul 1917 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH also found in July 18 and 21 in same paper"Edward F. Adelsperger, one of the victims of an auto accident on the Watson Road Sunday night, died at Mercy hospital's afternoon at 2: 10 o'clock. Mr. Adelsperger was the driver of the car which went over the embankment just outside of Watson. His entire right side was crushed and his right lung was punctured so seriously as to permit the escape of air. His condition grew gradually worse and death was momentarily expected since last night when he made a decided change for the worse. J. R. Ricketts, who is at the hospital, with injuries sustained in the accident, is improving. Mrs. Ricketts, who sustained a fractured ribs, Mrs. Adelsperger and Carrie Cramer, who were bruised, have been able to be out."(July 17) "The funeral of Edward F. Adelsperger, who died at Mercy hospital Tuesday as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident at Watson, Sunday night, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock at his late home, 93 Wentz Street and at three o'clock at the First Reformed Church. Rev. Dr. A. C. Shuman will conduct the services. Mr. Adelsperger was 37 years old June 14. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Adelsperger. He entered business as a glass manufacturer about eight years ago. He had been a glass cutter prior to that time. Under his careful management, his business expanded widely. He was known as a conservative businessman of the strictest integrity. He was married 17 years ago to Miss Maude Dice. He was a member of the First Reformed Church for 17 years and at the time of his death was a deacon in the Church and a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was a great friend of children and was always loved by the children of the neighborhood. His wife, his father, James Adelsperger, two brothers, Paul and Carl, and two sisters, Delilah and Margaret, survived him."(July 18) "The following relatives and friends from a distance attended the funeral of Edward M.
