As of 24 Jun 1852, her married name was CLAPPER. Margaret Ann had an obituary 19 Sep 1905 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH "DIED Clapper- Mrs. Margaret A Clapper widow of the late John Clapper, and a highly respected resident of this city, passed away, Monday, Sept. 18 1905, at noon, aged about seventy years. She had been ill for several months with yellow jaundice. The deceased was born in Tiffin Sept. 4, 1832, and spent her entire life in Tiffin and vicinity. She was the daughter of the late Henry Ridenour. The followind children survive: William Joseph, Albert, Charles, Earl, Mrs. Frank Yerk, Laura Clapper, Mrs. Wesley Werba, Mrs George Huffman, Mrs Claude Stofer and Mrs Henry Gross all of this city. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, tomorrow morning, at 8:30 o'clock. Interment in the parish cemetery" (Daily Tribune, page 8 col 1.). Margaret Ann also had an obituary 21 Sep 1905 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH "CLAPPER - Mrs. Margaret Clapper, widow of John Clapper, deceased, died at her home, No 460 Sandusky street, on Monday aged 73 years. She had been in failing health for some time, but for six weeks she was confined to her bed with liver trouble, which was the immediate cause of her death. The deceased was born in Tiffin in 1832. She was married to John Clapper, and moved with him to a farm near Berwick, this county, where they resided until their removal to Tiffin a number of years ago. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Frank Yerk, Mrs Claude Stofer, Mrs Laura Triphager, Mrs George Hoffman, Mrs. Wesley Werva, Mrs Henry Gross, Joseph, Charles, William, Earl and Albert, all of this city. The funeral took place from St. Mary's church Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock: interment in St. Mary's cemetery" (Seneca Advertiser, page 5 col 5.).
