William Joseph CLAPPER.  

William Joseph had an obituary 8 Mar 1920 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH 

       "William H. Clapper, 63 years, died at the Clapper home on Monroe Street
Saturday afternoon at 8: 45 o'clock.  He had been in failing health for six
months but his condition was not considered serious until last week.  Hardening
of the arteries with the cause of his death.  Mr. Clapper was born May 25, 1857,
and was the oldest son of John and Margaret Clapper.  He is survived by the
following brothers and sisters, Joseph, Albert, Charles and L. E. Clapper, Mrs.
Laura Triphagen, Mrs. Elaina J. Werba, Mrs. George Huffman, Mrs. Claude Stoffer
and Mrs. Henry Gross, all of this city.  Following services at the home, which
will be private, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, burial will be made at St.
Joseph's Cemetery" (Daily Tribune, page 8 columm four.).
