Jackson, relict of the late E. D. Jackson, died this morning at 8:45 at the home of her daughter Mrs. I. W. Dicken, at 127 Perry street, death being due to heart trouble and dropsy. The deceased was born in Bedford, Pa., September 15, 1855 and was aged 57 years, 1 month, and 3 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Daub and when a child came to Ohio with her parents, settling in Sandusky county, near Burgoon. When a young woman she was united in marriage to E. D. Jackson, who died several years ago and for the past three years she has made her home with her daughter in this city. She had been ill since last March, but her illness had been considered serious only during the past three weeks. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Dicken at whose home she died and E. L. Jackson, who resides in Lorain. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: M. C. Daub, Fostoria: Samuel Daub, Findley: William Daub, Hiawatha, Kan.: Henry Daub, who resides in Tennessee: Mrs. H. Roth, Fremont: Mrs. C. Leffler, Kansas Station and Mrs. S. Ferney, of Battle Creek, Mich. She is also survived by three grandchildren. She was a member of the First U. B. church of Fostoria.
