Daily Tribune, Tiffin, Ohio

Gertrude DROLL.  As of 22 Nov 1859, her married name was KUHN (Probate Court,
Marriage Records (County of event), Vol 5, p 298.).  

Gertrude had an obituary 3 Jan 1914 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH 

       "Kuhn-Mrs Gertrude Kuhn, aged 75 years, died at her home.No. 411 South
Washington street, at 8:50 o'clock Friday night. Since suffering injuries to her
spine in a fall last January she had been in poor health, but the direct cause
of her death was dropsy. She was born in Germany March 17, 1838 and came to this
country at the age of nine years. For a time she lived with her parents, at St.
Patricks, and then the family removed to a farm near New Riegel. Where she
resided until coming to Tiffin, eight years ago. In 1859 she was united in
marriage to the late Jacob Kuhn. The following children survive her: George,
Frank, Jacob and Mrs. Mary Ulman of this city and Peter, Simon , Henry and Mrs
Ross Schriner, of Hopewell township. One brother, George Droll, of New Riegel
died on Christmas day and but one brother, Julian, of Uniontown, Illinois
survives her. Thirty seven grandchildren and three great grand children also
survive her. The funeral will be held at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at St.
Joseph's church of which church the deceased was a faithful member. Interment
will be made in the parish cemetery." Note from Kris: I feel the Julian
mentioned here was in fact her brother Killian (Daily Tribune, page 8 col 2.).
