As of 16 Oct 1830, her married name was RIDENOUR. Elizabeth had an obituary 2 Oct 1899 "PIONEER RESIDENT DEAD Passing of Mrs. Elizabeth Reidenour, Who Resided in This City Over 66 Years. Mrs. Elizabeth Reidenour, died at the residence of Mrs. Margaret Clapper, her daughter, who resides on Sandusky street, at 9 o'clock Wednesday evening. The direct cause of death was due to a fall she received seven weeks ago while passing from one room to another. She broke her hip in the fall. Mrs. Reidenour was born in Fredrick county, Md., in l809 She moved to Tiffin 66 years ago and has resided here since. Her husband has been dead 20 years. She was the mother of eight children, three of whom survive her. These are William Reidenour, Benton County, Oregon; Mrs. Margaret Clapper, and Mrs. A. Reimer, of this city. Fifteen grand children and thirty great grand children survive. Funeral services will occur from St. Boniface church, New Riegel this morning. The funeral cortege will leave this city at 7 o'clock". (Daily Tribune, page 4 col 4) Elizabeth also had an obituary 28 Sep 1899 Tiffin, Seneca Co., OH "DIED RIDENOUR- At the home of her daughter, Mrs Margaret Clapper, 460 Sandusky street, Wednesday night, Sept 27, 1899, at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Elixabeth Ridenour, aged 90 years, 6 months and 3 days. About seven weeks ago the deceased fell while at her daughter's home and fractured her hip, and owing to her extreme old age never recovered. Mrs. Ridenour was born in Maryland and has resided in this county about sixty-six years. She lived in New Riegel the past ten years and had been in this city since last June. She was the widow of the late Henry Ridenour. The following children survive her: Mrs. Margaret Clapper and Mrs Alpheus Riemer, of this city. and Wm Ridenour, of Cowallis, Ore. She leaves thirty grandchildren and fifteen great granchildren. The funeral services will be held at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, Friday morning, the funeral cortege leaving the Clapper home at about 7:30 o'clock" (Daily Tribune, page 5 col 5.).
