Seneca Advertiser 20 Oct 1887
While Mr. Wilder, known to many of the readers of the ADVERTISER, and who lived
in Green Spring for a number of years, was shoeing a horse, the animal kicked
him and caused his death in a few days.

ALSO - The Clyde Enterprise, publication date 27 Oct 1887 has this:
The Seneca Advertiser says that while Mr. Wilder, of Scipio township, formerly
of Green Spring, was shoeing a horse, the animal kicked him and caused his death
in a few days.
