The train went through the latter place at its best speed. Wherle jumped off and was hurled violently to the groundk receiving severe injuries near the base of the spine and breaking his left shoulder." (Notes on damage caused to area farmers from storms that went through Shelby County on ''Thursday and Friday nights......) "BAZIL BURTON, of Clinton Township, had five wagon loads of wheat floated to the WIDENER farm. He started out in search of it and found that some one had hung it on the fence to dry. He brought it back and believes it to be not greatly damaged."
