Cook died Thursday morning at 4:30 at her home, at Bellfontaine, after illness of about two weeks of pneumonia. For more than 54 years Joseph Cook and his wife lived together in Bellefontaine. Nine children were born to them, two dying in infancy and seven remaining, as follows: Mrs. _____, ________, Ky; Mrs. William Stokes, Bellefontaine; Robert Cook, ex-sheriff, Bellefontaine; Mrs. William Brobst, Muncie, Ind; Mrs. A. L. McKittrick, Toledeo; Geo. Cook, Faribault, Minnesota; Clyde Cook, Bellfontaine. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the home and was in charge of Dr. C. E. Rice, pastor of the Lutheran church. Burial was made at Bellfontaine cemetry.
