McCorkle Born 3 July 18511 Dauphin County, PA Died 1922? Shelby County, OH" WM. T. M'CORKLE DIES AT HOSPITAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON LIVED BUT FEW HOURS AFTER BEING STRUCK BY AUTOMOBILE Wm. F. McCORKLE who was struck by an automobile Friday noon, died at the Emergency hospital at 3:10 'oclock. Mr. McCORKLE was crossing the street at Poplar and West ave where he was struck by a Fork car driven by Tom Mikos, causing a fracture of the skull which caused his death a few hours later. He was born on July 3, 1851 in Pennsylvania and came to Shelby County with his family in 1880 locating in Turtle creek twp near Hardin. His wife died ten years ago and since then his daughter has been living with him. He is survived by two daughters Mrs Mamie SLAGLE, of Oran, Alice Mc- CORKLE of Hardin and one son W.R. McCorkle of Hardin. The funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Angel St. Church of the Brethren burial at the church cemetery.
