Moyer Born 30 November 1903 Near Hardin, Shelby County, OH Died 19 Oct 1974 Piqua, Miami County, OH" OTTO C. MOYER PIQUA- Otto C. Moyer, 70, 119 Maplewood Drive, died Saturday at 11:30 p.m. at the Piqua memorial Hospital, where he had been hospitalized approximately a week. Death was caused by an apparent heart attack. Born Nov. 30, 1903, near Hardin, he was the son of John and Elizabeth (McCORKLE) MOYER. In 1929 he married the former Betty BUTZER. She died Oct. 26, 1969. His second marriage to Berniece SARGEANT HILL was Feb. 2, 1973. She survives with two sons, John T., Medina and Charles O., Peninsula, a stepdaughter, Mrs. James W. LYLE, Toledo; two grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy GEPHART, Newport. Mr. Moyer, an attorney who in 1971 received his law degree from the Akron University Law School. He was a member of the Ohio Bar Association, held a life membership in the Rotary Club and the Elks Lodge, both of Barberton; and was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Barberton. Services will be Tuesday at 3p.m. at the Salm & Wiley Funeral Home with Dr. ___Airhart, Lebanon, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9p.m. Contributions m[a]y be made in his memory to the Heart Fund.
