Born in Shelby County May 8, 1871, he was the son of James and Justina Blue Rich. Surviving are a son, Fred Rich, also of the Miami County Home; three daughters, Mrs. George Burch (Helen) of Bradford, Mrs. Clyde Shroyer (Elsie) and Mrs. Charles Black (Vera), both of Piqua; a brother, Grover Rich of Sidney, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His wife the former Roberta Glick, is deceased. The Rev. Roger Kincaid will conduct servies at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamieson Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
